The Board of Deputies is the voice of British Jews and exists to represent the varied interests and concerns of our community to Government, policy makers and opinion formers without fear or favour. Hence, whilst inevitably, individuals within the Board, hold differing political views and affiliations, as an organisation we are always completely non-party political. The Board comments on and seeks to influence the policies of political parties, but we never express preferences between political parties nor their representatives, and we expect and encourage those that hold office within the organisation to do the same. We look forward to working closely with the next Government of the UK whatever its political composition, to continue to promote the interests and concerns of the British Jewish community and upholding the values of our democratic society.
