Leading business organisations commit to tackling anti-Jewish hate in the workplace following Board advocacy

Board of Deputies Vice President Karen Newman has praised an initiative by two of the UK’s leading business organisations, committing to concrete action to support Jewish employees and foster inclusive workplaces.

Karen said: “We welcome this vital intervention from business leaders, who have united to take a clear stand against antisemitism following the ministerial roundtable convened as a direct result of the Board of Deputies’ advocacy on antisemitism in the workplace.

“This open letter sends a clear message that antisemitism has no place in British business and that Jewish staff must be able to go about their working lives free from racism.

“Through our BoD@Work programme, we will continue to work relentlessly with across the economy and with policymakers to turn these commitments into concrete action and to ensure that antisemitism is properly identified and challenged wherever it appears.”
