Last week, senior Jewish community representatives, including Board of Deputies President Marie van der Zyl, Senior VP David Mendoza-Wolfson and Jewish Leadership Council Chair Keith Black, met Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron and the Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict and Minister of State (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, United Nations and the Commonwealth) Lord Tariq Ahmad, to discuss Jewish communal concerns relating to Israel & the region.

The meeting, also attended by Board of Deputies Chief Executive Michael Wegier, Jewish Leadership Council Chief Executive Claudia Mendoza, and Marc Levy, JLC Regional Manager & Chief Executive of The Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester & Region, enabled key Jewish community stakeholders to set out the wider communal position on a range of issues.
