The Board of Deputies has appointed Daniel Sugarman as its new Director of Public Affairs.
Daniel, who has been working as Public Affairs Officer for two years since moving to the Board of Deputies from the Jewish Chronicle, will replace Phil Rosenberg who is departing in December.
Daniel said: “I’m delighted at the opportunity to serve as the Board’s new Director of Public Affairs, and look forward to working in this role with the organisation’s incredible team of Honorary Officers and staff, as well as our excellent Deputies. Together, I believe we will go from strength to strength in ensuring our community has a strong and effective voice to promote their interests and concerns.”
Board of Deputies Chief Executive Michael Wegier said: “We are very excited to appoint Daniel who has great experience in both public affairs and journalism, as well as having worked closely with both the Conservative and Labour Parties. He has already made a massive contribution to the Board’s work and I wish him every success in his new post.”
