Conservative Party Chair meets community at Sukkot event

Conservative Party Chair Jake Berry has committed to regular engagement with the Jewish community at a Sukkot event at Finchley United Synagogue (Kinloss).

Rabbi Jeremy Lawrence introduced Mr Berry to the lulav and etrog and Board of Deputies President Marie van der Zyl welcomed the MP for Rossendale and Darwen. She commented that the Jewish community had good relations with the party under Mr Berry’s predecessor, Oliver Dowden, and that she hoped to build on that good work. Mr Berry said he was committed to engaging with the community through regular meetings.

Mr Berry also met Senior Vice President David Mendoza-Wolfson, Deputies Vicki Harris, Marc Meyer, Felix Mara, Stephen Levy and other members of the Jewish community.
