Board of Deputies President Jonathan Arkush congratulates new London Mayor Sadiq Khan

Board of Deputies of British Jews President Jonathan Arkush today congratulated Sadiq Khan on his election as Mayor of London. He said: “We congratulate him and very much welcome the fact that his first public engagement will be the Yom HaShoah commemoration and hope that this will set the tone for his mayoralty’s engagement with our community. We look forward to working with him in his new role.”
