Please book your tickets as soon as possible, as numbers are limited.
Once again the Board wishes to honour and respect the lives of those servicemen who were lost on active duty by engaging in the significant mitzvah of remembrance. Denise Lester, Deputy for South Hampstead United Synagogue, will again lead a contingent of deputies at the AJEX March on Sunday 16th November.
Denise Lester said: “The community and society should never fail to honour, respect and remember the lives of those lost in action, who gave their lives so that we might live in a democratic society today with freedom and tolerance. We welcome the attendance of all to either participate in, or watch and commemorate the AJEX Remembrance Day Parade, particularly this year as we mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the Great War.’
