Louis Danker sits on the Board of Deputies Executive, and is the President of the
Union of Jewish Students for 2025/26. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in July 2025, having studied Geography.
He is a passionate believer in celebrating Jewish campus life. He sees it as his mission at UJS to ensure the Jewish student story is one of Jewish pride, and is not defined by those who incite hate.
He believes that young people have a pivotal role to play in shaping the Jewish community, particularly in polarising times, and is a relentless advocate and representative for them in all his work with the Board of Deputies.
