Sheila has been the Deputy for Cardiff United Synagogue since 2009. Elected in 2015 as Vice President, she chaired the Communities and Education Division, and in 2018, she was elected Senior Vice President and chaired the International Division. She now chairs the Regional Assembly to support nearly 100 Deputies who live outside of London to ensure that their voices are heard.
Her passion is Outreach Education for non-Jewish school children and adult groups. She is a trustee and executive member of NASACRE, which supports religious education (RE) in all state schools and a trustee and board member of the RE Council of the UK. She travels all around the UK teaching about Judaism to many thousands of children each year.
