Naomi Ter-Berg

⁠Naomi Ter-Berg

Naomi grew up within an Orthodox South London community and is now a  Deputy for West London Synagogue. She was elected onto the Communities and Education Division last triennium and is now Vice Chair.

An advocate of cross-culturalism, multifaith and interfaith activities she believes in breaking down barriers across all elements of the Jewish Community.

Education has always been her passion professionally and personally, having worked within the education field for over 45 years.

Naomi has an MA in Special Education and Inclusion and has spent over 20 years training Primary PGCE teachers at UCL Institute of Education in Mainstream and Special Schools in London, She has actively supported Jewish teachers in non-jewish schools and was involved in the original setting up of the Jewish Teachers Network.

She is involved in outreach work in non-jewish schools, visiting many schools to educate pupils and teachers about Judaism. She is a School Governor and SACRE (Standing Advisory Councils on Religious Education)  Representative.
