Jewish Culture Month – Terms & Conditions
To ensure the success, safety, and integrity of Jewish Culture Month (JCM), all participating events must comply with the following terms.
1. Event Dates
Events must take place between 16 May and 15 June 2026.
2. Adherence to Selection Criteria
Events must align with the published criteria. JCM may withdraw support if an event conflicts with the ethos of the programme.
3. Public Accessibility
All events must be open to the general public.
4. Security Review
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure an appropriate security review has been undertaken and liaised with CST and where possible the police.
5. Risk Assessment & Insurance
Organisers are responsible for completing an adequate risk assessment and have in place public liability insurance at a level for the scale of their event.
6. Legal Responsibility
Organisers must comply with all relevant UK laws, including licensing, safeguarding, copyright, and data protection.
7. Branding & Communications
JCM branding may only be used with approval and must follow the official guidelines provided.
8. Content & Conduct
Events must reflect the inclusive, respectful ethos of JCM and must not promote political parties, campaigns, or hostile content.
9. Cancellations & Changes
Organisers must notify JCM of cancellations or major changes. JCM may update or remove listings accordingly.
10. Data & Privacy
By applying, organisers consent to the use of their event details for coordination and publicity. Data will be handled under UK GDPR.
11. Feedback & Evaluation
Organisers may be asked to provide post-event data to support programme evaluation.
12. Branding & Participation
Jewish Culture Month is a trading name and project of the Board of Deputies Charitable Foundation.
