Board of Deputies President meets representatives from seven synagogues during weekend visits

Board of Deputies President Phil Rosenberg spoke at three synagogues at the weekend about the work of the Board of Deputies and met representatives from a further four.

One Friday night he visited Finchley Reform Synagogue where he spoke alongside Board of Deputies Vice President Andrew Gilbert. On Shabbat morning he spoke to members of New North London Synagogue and then on Sunday he spoke at an event hosted by Loughton Synagogue, partnered by Chigwell & Hainault, ELELS and Woodford Forest Synagogue. Phil was joined by Senior Vice President Adrian Cohen and Vice President Andrew Gilbert for a question-and-answer session.

The following day, while in Essex, Phil Rosenberg, Adrian Cohen and Vice President Jeremy Michelson visited Clore Tikva and Ilford Jewish Primary Schools and were joined by Andrew Gilbert at their visit to King Solomon High School.

Phil said: “I was delighted to be able to meet so many shul goers and engage with them about their needs and concerns. This helps me do my job in accurately representing the length and breadth of the UK Jewish community.”
