Jack Baldwin

Jack is the Local and Regional Government Officer at the Board of Deputies. He supports the Board’s Public Affairs team and leads on engagement with local councils, devolved administrations, and Jewish Representative Councils. He also works closely with Deputies on the Defence Division to combat antisemitism.

Before joining the Board, Jack worked in Parliament for two MPs and in consulting for a political public relations firm that specialised in engaging with local councils across England. Jack is a member of The Ark Synagogue in Northwood.

He has an academic interest in contemporary British politics, specifically the history of antisemitism and LGBT+ rights in British political discourse. Outside of British politics, Jack has a keen interest in Russian foreign policy and 20th century philosophy.
