Welcome for announcement of Counter Terrorist Financing Officer

Richard Verber, Senior Vice President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, has welcomed the appointment of a dedicated Counter Terrorist Financing Officer at the Department for International Development:

“He said: “We need to ensure that Britain’s vital contributions are going to international development and not international terrorism. This is something that the Board of Deputies has been pressing for some time and it was one of the issues included in our ‘Jewish Manifesto’ at the last General Election.”
