This Sunday, ahead of the General Election, the major parties will be debating the issues which matter to the Jewish community at a hustings convened at the monthly plenary meeting.
Speaking for the Conservatives at the hour-long debate will be Sajid Javid MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Representing Labour will be Shadow Minister for Constitutional Reform Stephen Twigg MP who rose to national prominence in 1997 when he defeated Defence Minister Michael Portillo in the Enfield Southgate constituency. The Liberal Democrats will be represented by Deputy Leader of the House of Commons, Tom Brake MP. UKIP and the Greens have also been invited.
