Speaking up for the Jewish community is easier than ever following the relaunch of the Board of Deputies website. The website’s campaign section supports you in contacting decision-makers and making the case of the Jewish community.
Our first campaigns concern next week’s elections in London, Scotland and Wales. We are urging candidates to back our #TenCommitments documents, which are summaries of the Jewish Manifesto for London, the Jewish Manifesto for Scotland, and the bilingual Manifesto for Wales/ Maniffesto Iddewig Cymru.
If you are a London resident, you can support the relevant campaign here.
If you are a Scottish resident, you can support the relevant campaign here.
If you are a Welsh resident, you can support the relevant campaign here.
The Manifestos cover those aspects of Jewish life that devolved institutions are responsible for, such as countering antisemitism, building cohesive communities, faith-sensitive public services, religious freedom and religious freedom.
You can read the Jewish Manifesto for London here and the Ten Commitments here.
