Jewish community to host hustings across London for local borough elections

Hustings for local elections in May are being hosted by London Jewish Forum, Board of Deputies, Jewish Leadership Council and Jewish News.

Hustings in Barnet will be held in Hendon (4th April), New Barnet (7th April), and Edgware (12th April). Council Leader Cllr Daniel Thomas, Labour’s Leader of the Opposition Cllr Barry Rawlings and Barnet Lib Dem Leader Cllr Gabriel Rozenberg will appear at the New Barnet Hustings on 7th April. Finchley residents will also get the opportunity to meet candidates at an event on 26th April.

Enfield hustings will feature Labour Council Leader Cllr Nesil Caliskan and Conservative Opposition Leader Cllr Joanne Laban on 11th April.

On 5th April, JW3 will host hustings for Camden Council, with Labour Council Leader Cllr Georgia Gould, Conservative Leader of the Opposition Cllr Oliver Cooper, and leaders from the local Liberal Democrats and Greens.

In Redbridge on 6th April, Labour Council Leader Cllr Jas Athwal and Cllr Howard Berlin of the Conservatives will be quizzed by Board of Deputies President Marie van der Zyl.

On 26th April, Haringey Labour Council Leader Cllr Peray Ahmet and other party leaders will face questions.
