Call for submissions from UJS

The National Union of Students (NUS) has commissioned an investigation into its handling of antisemitism and the experience of Jewish students within the movement, which seeks to consider “whether NUS has done enough to make Jewish students feel welcome, included and safe in NUS spaces, activities, and in elected roles”.

The UJS is compiling testimonies for its submission to the inquiry. While acknowledging that NUS has opened a direct call for evidence, many Jewish people may feel more comfortable submitting their evidence via UJS. Testimony can be anonymised if requested. Alternatively, contact details can be shared directly with Rebecca Tuck QC, who leads the investigation.

The scope for this investigation is unlimited so UJS is asking for testimonies from anyone who has ever interacted with NUS and has experienced antisemitism. If you have any relevant experiences to share, please fill out this form. Please also pass this onto any peers/children who have relevant experience.
