Board: Solidarity with France in wake of ‘terrorist attack’

The Board of Deputies of British Jews expresses solidarity with the people of France over today’s apparent terrorist attack in Isère, near Lyon.

We have expressed our sadness at the attacks to both the French Embassy in London and to our French sister-body le Crif.

Board Senior Vice President Richard Verber said, “We are appalled to see what seems to have been a terrible attack in France. But however brutal these attacks are, they serve only to reinforce the bonds of humanity of decent people the world over.”
