Board President Vivian Wineman visits Jewish community and other faith groups in Belfast

Board President Vivian Wineman visited the Belfast Jewish community to discuss recent events in the city over the summer where there have been a number of antisemitic incidents. He met with community members and friends at Belfast synagogue. He also met with senior church figures, including the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Belfast. Mr Wineman said:

“I am hugely impressed by the Jewish community’s good standing in Northern Ireland and their determination to maintain all aspects of communal life despite falling numbers. I was privileged to stand with them to show zero tolerance to antisemitism”.
