Board of Deputies welcomes EU report revealing antisemitism in Palestinian textbooks

Board of Deputies Vice President David Mendoza-Wolfson has welcomed an EU report which reveals the antisemitic content of Palestinian Authority textbooks.

David said: We are pleased that the EU report on the Palestinian Authority’s curriculum has now been released, after much delay. The report confirms that the curriculum contains antisemitism, glorifies acts of terrorism, negates Israel’s right to exist and includes messages that exacerbate the conflict. The UK must now act to make sure British taxpayer money no longer goes towards the teaching of hate, and that Palestinian education contributes to building long-lasting peace and coexistence.
