Board of Deputies thanks Westminster City Council for Yom Kippur meeting postponement

Board of Deputies Vice President Amanda Bowman has thanked Westminster City Council for postponing a public meeting which clashed with Yom Kippur.

She said: “The Board of Deputies welcomes Westminster City Council’s decision to postpone the next meeting of the Open Public Forum Meeting so that it does not clash with Yom Kippur, enabling Jewish residents to attend. Many thanks to the council for listening to residents and the Board of Deputies and acting constructively on this issue.”
