Board of Deputies reacts to horrendous attack in Nice

The Board of Deputies stands in solidarity with all of France after yesterday’s horrendous attack in Nice during the National Day celebrations.

On a day when the French were celebrating their national day, it is beyond tragic that today we will once again be writing to the Embassy to express our solidarity, resolve and friendship after this heinous attack.

Last night, we wrote to our French sister-organisation, the Crif, to express the same and to take forward our continuing dialogue on matters of interest and concern.

We know only too well of this kind of attack because of its repeated use in Israel.

As an international community we must strengthen partnerships to tackle the common terror threat and come together with all communities to defeat this evil once and for all.
