Board of Deputies President: ‘It is right for Conservative Party to discipline Kawczynski and we wait to see his apology’

Board of Deputies of British Jews President Marie van der Zyl has reacted to the Conservative Party’s decision to discipline Conservative MP Daniel Kawczynski for his attendance at a conference alongside representatives of far-right European parties.

Marie said: “It is right for the Conservative Party to discipline MP Daniel Kawczynski after his attendance at this conference alongside a number of people with reprehensible views. After his initially unrepentant stance, we wait to see his apology, which has not yet been communicated with us.”
